David Merwin is an assistant professor in the Geography Department at Framingham State College and an adjunct professor in the Department of Environmental, Earth and Oceans Science at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. He received a B.A. in Geography from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Connecticut. Dr. MerwinÕs technical expertise is in the field geo-spatial technologies with an emphasis on methods of quantitative spatial analysis. His regional expertise is the geography of the Unites States and Canada. At the University of Massachusetts-Boston, Dr. Merwin teaches World Regional Geography (EEOS102) and Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (EEOS380/623).
