Lillian Glickman is Co-Director of the Management of Aging Services Program and has over 35 years experience in gerontology. From 1998 until January 2003, she served as Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, a cabinet-level agency that administers a wide range of community-based services for elders. These include home care services for frail elders, an insurance-based prescription drug program, assisted living and supportive housing programs, elder protective services, and information and advocacy services. Prior to serving as Secretary, she served as Assistant Secretary for nine years during two separate time periods. She previously served as Executive Director of two Governor’s Commissions and worked both in academia and in the private sector. She received her A.B. degree from Harvard and an MSW and Ph.D. from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
