Course Description
This introductory course in the accelerated track focuses on core concepts of professional nursing including human beings, environment, health and nursing goals and actions. Students will explore current literature, historical perspectives, theoretical premises and research related to nursing’s unique perspectives and beliefs of people across the lifespan in developing outcomes consistent with maximizing individuals’ potential for growth.
