Course Description
This course has two primary goals: (1) to survey the various kinds of technological resources available for use in the ESL classroom; and (2) to evaluate critically the use of technology in the ESL classroom and the extent to which it is compatible with current theories of language acquisition.

Prerequisite: APLING-MA students only.

  2. All other readings will be accessed online via Healey Library eReserves or the internet.
Additional Information
This course will focus on the challenges and tools current technology provides in teaching language (especially Web 2.0 tools). The focus will be fine-tuned for online learning or blended courses depending on the initial knowledge and needs of the group. The approach will be both theoretical and practical.
