Carol Allen is the lead instructor and course designer for NU 360: Professional issues in Nursing. She has been a Pediatric Nurse for more than 27 years in various positions as an inpatient staff nurse, outpatient clinic nurse, and nurse manager. She graduated from UMass, Boston with her masters in Nursing as a Family Clinical Specialist and her BSN from Boston College. She has been teaching in the undergraduate program for more than 8 years and in the online, RN-BSN program for over 1 year.

Diane MacLean received her Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Nursing degree from Berkshire Community College, Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas, and Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau, and the American Holistic Nurses‚Äô Association. Diane has experience as a Geropsychiatric Nurse caring for older adults in acute, long term and community settings. Her research interest is the effect of environmental stimuli on the behavior of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She has been a Nurse Educator for 20 years teaching in LPN, ADN, and BSN programs.
