Diane MacLean received her Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Nursing degree from Berkshire Community College, Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas, and Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Theta Tau, and the American Holistic Nurses’ Association. Diane has experience as a Geropsychiatric Nurse caring for older adults in acute, long term and community settings. Her research interest is the effect of environmental stimuli on the behavior of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She has been a Nurse Educator for 20 years teaching in LPN, ADN, and BSN programs.
