Mary E. Brady, PhD
Mary is the Director of Professional Development at the Center for Social Development and Education and faculty member within the Graduate College of Education at University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Brady has served students with severe and multiple disabilities as a teacher, principal, program specialist and faculty member, and she has direct knowledge about the importance of applied behavior analysis skills for educators within an overall instructional program. Mary’s interests include developing more flexible models of professional development, and embedding technology within instruction to reach a wider range of diverse learners.
Frank L. Bird, M.Ed., BCBA
Director of Clinical Services at Melmark New England, Frank received his Master in Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston College. Frank received his Board Certification Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in June of 2001. Frank has over 25 years experience in the field of community-based human service delivery systems in Frank has an extended history of developing clinical support plans for challenging behaviors for children and adults with the diagnosis of autism, mental retardation, acquired brain injury, dual diagnosis and mental illness. His demonstrated abilities include clinical design, staff development, research and training, personnel management and program development.
